Koh Kood (Koh Kut) Island is located 330 km from Bangkok in Trat province. It is washed by the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam. Koh Kood is also called the Thai Maldives, or Bounty Island. Yes, this island may work well for the filming of a commercial for the famous chocolate bar “Bounty”. Palm trees along the deserted beaches, white sand, mangroves, and, of course, waterfalls - all this makes Koh Kood attractive for tourists, especially for those who love tranquility. At the same time, the infrastructure there is poorly developed.
There are no currency exchange, banks, or shopping centers on the island. On the other hand, there is a fishing village where you can always buy fresh seafood. The sea water near Koh Kood stays just perfect from October to April, and there are beaches for every taste. Hotels are also designed for different budgets – from the cheapest bungalows to 5-star hotels.
And if you wish to try even more exotic activity, visit a restaurant where you will be offered dinner at the treetops.
Located on Thanon Thani, opposite the Montanatip Tour office, just off Khaosan Road.
