Koh Samet is a small island situated in the Gulf of Siam, 6,5 km from the mainland and 300 km from Bangkok. It is a part of the Khao Laem Ya–Ko Samet National Park. This is the place for those who want to enjoy the beauty of exotic Thai sceneries and have a relaxing and peaceful holiday on an isolated island, far away from hustle and bustle of big cities.
Group transfer is the most affordable way to get from Bangkok to Koh Samet. The journey is carried out in two stages: first, a minibus takes you from Bangkok to Ban Phe Pier, followed by a transfer to a speedboat. After a 15-20 minute ride, you'll arrive at your destination. The speedboat ticket price is included. You can also book a round-trip transfer—from Bangkok to Koh Samet and back to Bangkok.
Alternatively, you can reach Ban Phe Pier from Bangkok by taxi. However, this option is more expensive compared to the group transfer.
Located on Thanon Thani, opposite the Montanatip Tour office, just off Khaosan Road.
